Personal-use integration
Hermes Gmail Reader is a self-hosted email assistant operated by Mohit Madaan for personally authorized Gmail accounts. It is not offered as a public service or as a Google product. Gmail is a Google service, and its use remains subject to Google’s applicable terms.
Authorization and instructions
Only an account holder or a person authorized by that account holder may connect an account. The assistant’s permissions support email actions requested by the account holder. Account holders should review intended recipients, important outgoing messages, and destructive actions. Permanent deletion may not be recoverable.
Availability and generated content
The integration is provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or error-free results. Google may expire or revoke authorization, and third-party services may become unavailable. AI-generated summaries and drafts can contain mistakes and should be checked before relying on them for consequential decisions.
Privacy and stopping use
Data handling is described in the privacy policy. Access can be revoked through Google Account connections, and the account holder may ask the operator to remove stored integration data. These terms do not remove any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
